Does anyone what school is most local to malcolmson street or mcdonnel street in 1901 and 1911.

You'll need to more specific I'm afraid; Antrim is a county.
Which town/city are you on about?

Well i know mcdonnel street is in falls ward but im not sure on malcolmson street, on the marriage cert it says urban 6

Hiya Pauline,

Why should Danny be more specific? Members who know Northern Ireland, particularly those Belfast members, know precisely what the question means. That's a typically Irish reply, answering a question with another question usually indicates the person making the reply tends to know absolutely nothing about the subject in question and is bluffing their way 8)

Danny, McDonnell Street runs from 110, Albert Street to 267, Grosvenor Road and Malcolmson Street from 30, Waterford Street to Springfield Road. I'll get to the Central Library later in the week and check the Directories to see what schoold were in the area. It's a Bank Holiday today so the Library will be closed.

Danny there was a school in St. Peters Parish, Slate Street school one of Belfast oldest, was off McDonnell Street. Anne
