Do you know much about Peter? Was he born at Coupar angus and have a brother Patrick?

Hi Pam,

I know nothing at all about Peter, unfortunately. He is named as the father of Duncan Stewart on his birth/baptism certificate in April, 1800.

Margaret :)

Hi
Mizarae and I share a common Stewart ancestor. Her ancestor John Stewart, son of James of Wester Gourdie, and who married Amelia Jackson, is the brother of my ancestor William Stewart, born Clunie Parish 1770, son of James Stewart of Wester Gourdie. I would love to be in touch.

Gordon 44

Do you know the parents of Isabella Forbes from her death certificate?  Were the twins, Janet and Annie, illegitimate?

Thanks Annie.  She popped up - at least her comment did - when in desperation I googled John Stewart born Clunie, Perthshire, 1 August 1772. My several greats grandfather’s brother.

Cheers,
Makere

Hi Makere,

I posted the online details of the OP for you posters to be aware of as you may not get a reply. However, it doesn't stop others corresponding with each other on the thread.

It's also worth considering, if any of you have further queries related to this thread, you can always start a new thread & if anything relevant is on here just post a link to the info.
