Whitstable burial 1930 - STOTT
« on: Friday 04 May 07 09:49 BST (UK) »
Hello,

Just a quick one.

My gt gt grandfather Joseph Stott died in Whitstable in 1930.  He was a Weslyan Methodist - where would he have been buried?

Thanks!

I notice they have a section for all denominations, that isn't too big, which means it might not take me too long to search (next time I am in Whitstable!)

Christine, you could try emailing the Cemeteries Registrar for Canterbury via the website listed above to see if they can supply any information from their burial, grave and/or grave purchase registers.  I've not had cause to contact the Canterbury one myself but have had very useful information from others.

Hello,

I had a quick look on the Canterbury website, but I couldn't find an option to be able to contact them.
