Thank you Pete & genie I've saved the extra copies of the picture. Don't they look different in black and white  :) I'm showing another picture of Ellen, as a young girl, probably 7 - 10 yrs of age. what do you think?  :) Ellen was my Gt  Aunt. She was born 1881. Her parents died when she was quite young, and she was bought up by her grandparents.   :)  Lyn
