Modify Looking for Martha and James Proctor
« on: Monday 07 May 07 11:34 BST (UK) »
There is a LDS record of the birth of Charles John Proctor 25 Aug 1823 Bap 27 Jul 1827 Saint leonards Shoreditch London.
Mother Martha father James Proctor. Occ. Grocer.
I believe that Charles John Proctor is my Gt Gt Grandfather but I can't find any trace of his parents.
I have Charles in all the census from 1851 can't find him in 1841.
But if anyone can find  a death or any reference to Martha or James Proctor/Procter I would be most greateful. I have been looking for them for so long.

Hello Pincard

Their is only one Martha within London in 1841........she is married to a Provision merchant (could that be a grocer?) and they are just across the river in Lambeth which is only 2 or 3 miles away?
