KATHERINE S. DEERNESS
She seems to have been born c 1866 in the Orkney,Scotland.
In 1910 she shows up in Peebles ,Lauder,Scotland.
Is she in your family research?

Catherine Dearness (note spelling) born in 1864 in Birsay District of Orkney.
Copy of BC can be downloaded from scotlandspeople.gov.uk which is a pay per view site.
