Belfast Cemetery
« on: Tuesday 08 May 07 14:15 BST (UK) »
I posted this on the request site and then thought the General site might be better.

My gr/grandparents 4 year old daughter died in Belfast in 1871 from Measles/Bronchitis.

They were living at Pilot st, which was down by the docks.

Does anyone know which would have been the  nearest cemetery to this and if it is still there.
They were Protestants.

Hope someone can help

Hiya Maureen,

What's the surname of your great grandparents and were they CoI, Methodists or Presbyterians?

I think that the nearest cemetery to Pilot Street may have been the Clifton Street Cemetery.

Hello Christopher

Thanks for your reply

They were  George and Harriet Stringer,  George was English but Harriet was from Belfast.

All I know is that, they weren't Catholics
