I have a Clarence Reginald Jude born Royson 1922 can anyone help with his parents and siblings at all please?

Unless someone happens to have them in their own tree it's a case of going back to basics and buying his birth certificate to get his parents and working back from there. Once you get to 1901 you can move faster with censuses

Looking at his birth entry though his mother's maiden name is given as Jude which implies illegitimacy

Royston registration covers a fairly wide area and included many parishes, one of which was Barrington, Cambs, where there were a number of Judes in 1901

If he was illegitimate would I be right in thinking his fathers name would not be on the birth certificate?

In all probability the father's name wouldn't be on the birth certificate. If you get the birth cert and identify the parish you might then be able to check the parish register to see if he was baptised. Sometimes a baptism entry gives extra information eg the father!
