There may be certain problems finding some of your 17th Century Irish ancestors as a bit of a barney to say the least of it took place in Ireland at that time. This was the Rebellion of 1641 to 1642. The Library Ireland website contains an article about this Rebellion taken from "A History of Ireland" written by Eleanor Hull.

Sir John Temple, Master of the Rolls, is mentioned as he was in Dublin at the time and he wrote about the refugees pouring into that city. There were also terrible conditions in the north of Ireland which are well described in the article. I doubt that there are any ships lists for that period but if you have found 17th century ancestors in Britain bearing Irish names then they may have been among some of the thousands who were shipped to Britain as soon as they arrived in Dublin. At least the port of departure is known even if the port of arrival in Britain is not known.
