Thank you for the information and the link Stewart. I’ve been on there and have found the relevant transcriptions for baptisms at St Hellier. Through this I’ve been able to eliminate Sydney Charles as he was a son of a George William and Rosanna Young.
If I do manage to come over it will be later in the year and of course I will certainly contact you – at the very least I owe you a drink.
I notice you have been very busy lately helping us chatters particularly in clearing up the older threads, I’m sure I speak for everyone involved when I say how much we appreciate it.
