Old pub in Bridge End, 1900s, Belfast

I am trying to find out more about the pubs my greatgrandfather John KELLY owned/ran around 1900 to 1910.  The address was - depending on which source you read - 104 - 108 Bridge End, Belfast.  He previously owned/ran a pub at 60 Corporation Street, Belfast.  The info I have, I have got from Belfast Directories, and the Census for 1901 (cannot find them at all on the 1911 census).  After 1910/1911 John Kelly moved and possibly separated from his wife Sarah (who died in 1912 at 76 Willowbank St).  Does anyone have any more info, particularly on the pub in Bridge End?

Hiya jaylay,

The Appletree Press of Belfast published a book called "The Historic Pubs of Belfast" by Gary Law in 2002. There's no mention of John Kelly or his pubs in the book but I'd suggest you email Appletree Press to see if they can put you in touch with Gary as it's possible he may have some material that he did not use in his book. He might also be able to put you in touch with someone with more information.
