« on: Tuesday 22 May 07 03:23 BST (UK) »
I am at long last going to get a trip over to the Uk for our bank holiday weekend 1 - 4 th June... OH decided we needed the break... I don't think he realises what he is in for being dragged around all the places I have wanted to visit for so long !!!

One of my priorities is to try and find my grandfathers grave.

Frederick Walker died 1946 address at time of death was 77 Dudley Road,  Colmore,  Birmingham

Would any SK'rs out there be able to guide me in right direction...

Any help would be wonderful...

1 more brick wall request... I haven't been able to confirm a death for great grandfather....

he was  born 1845 in Burntwood Staffs Henry Walker he appears in the 1901 census living at 23 Wallesey street Birmingham

have more death certs for the wrong Henry Walker than  I need  ???

Many thanks and will really appreciate any assists I can get

Best wishes

Mo

Hi Mo

You may find Frederick buried in the cemetery off Thimblemill Road, Birmingham
B67 5XX. It is not very far from  Dudley Road. I have found this number which may cover this burial site and they may be able to help. A lot of the big cemeteries have an office which hold the records of burials. The number is (note sure of the code from Ireland) 0121 5696700
