Marriage - Holy Trinity, Gwernaffield 1897

Could anyone visiting Flintshire R O please do a lookup for me?

Louisa Edwards married David Parry in Dec qtr 1897.  I believe her to be a widow and would like her father's name. Names of witnesses and David's status would be a bonus. He was a lead miner. I think she was originally known as Elizabeth!

First time I've seen no Fathers name just Deceased.

Many thanks - I appreciate the time taken to do this lookup for me and I owe you for saving me £7. Trust me to get the one where the vicar didn't bother with fathers! The witnesses are all unexpected as well - why use family when you have friends!. If it's the couple I think they were both in their sixties so no offspring so I'll just note it as a possible and look at another branch.

I just came across your posting from March 07 re the Marriage in Gwernaffield.
I'm interested in the Edwards family from Gwernaffield, do you have connections with them.
My mother was
Marjorie Mary Edwards 1915 - 1980
Her father was
Price Edwards 1883 - 1949
His father was
Samuel Edwards born 1853. He could well be the witness at the marriage
His father was
Robert Edwards born 1812

ALL LIVED IN GWERNAFFIELD

Hello Kyffin

Unfortunately I can't lay claim to your Edwards family. John Edwards moved to Gwernaffield with his second wife Elizabeth(also known as Louisa) in his 50's and when he died she married again. I was trying to find her father's name to confirm it was the same Louisa. She and John married fairly late in life and had no children. He came originally from Cheshire.
