(note surname on birth reg's has an extra i )

There is a Reuben Pashlinsky appears on 1891/1901 census with family (father jacob) - Reuben b lancashire, but parents b. Russia.

There is a marriage in lancs  1904 for a reuben Pashlisky to an Elizabeth - maybe Elizabeth died  and Reuben remarried - cant find a death though????

 :)the plot thickens.  I sent for the marriage certificate and Harriet definitely married Reuben Pashilinsky on 8.05.1912 in Newport but called herself Katherine and said she was 22 (she was 19!). I know it was Harriet because my great-grandfather's name was given as father's name and great-granny was a witness.  Reuben's occupation was given as optician and his father's was David Pashilinsky who was a hardware merchant traveller.
