Hello, Can any one help, My 2nd great grandfather William Beard was in the Army and stationed in Ireland circa 1837-1839, William married Diana Maria Newton ,do not know where, their fist son Henry was born in Fermoy near Cork circa 1838, in 1840 the family were at Dover Castle, England, any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Do you know his regiment? You may be able to find where the regiment was stationed each year. And then check Fermoy Anglican records for their marriage (if the records survive) It is too early for general registration. How do you know where and when Henry was born?
