Hi Lloydy

Same servers as far as I know

Angela

PS Presumably they'll try to get the US bits up and running for when they wake up over there .....  ;D

Ancestry.co.uk is back up - more or less but Ancestry.com isnt.

I'm getting full access on both .co.uk and .com (complete with new military records etc).  Don't know why I'm the lucky one today ;)

Everyone should be ok soon judging by my experience. There was nothing an hour ago, then I could get .co.uk and I've just been able to get the US stuff, so they must be releasing access gradually to see if it falls over again  ;D

Since their 'new look' upgrade I have had numerous problems searching the site.  The last few times I have visited I have been able to get to my search page but then my cursor becomes ineffective and won't open ANY screens.  I then have to reboot.  This ONLY happens with Ancestry.  Anyone else having this problem, and is anyone able to help me sort this out?

Several of you have stated you don't use Ancestry.com. I suggest you check it out now. The FREE military records go back to the Revolutionary War & many other records give d.o.b. & country of origin.
