What area?
There are quite a few Glasgow Roads outside Glasgow, not surprisingly all headed to Glasgow.
I used to live in Glasgow Road, Paisley. until about 15 years ago.

Try Google Maps.  Most of the houses opposite 89 are from the 30s but I'm not sure of the bit at this point of the road.  Looks to be tenements and possibly rebuilt as a supermarket or something - note the carpark.
I don't plan to be out that way soon but I'll try and remember to look.

Only lived in Glasgow Road from 1989 til 1992.
411 Glasgow Road to be precise.
Lived in Hillington before that and many other addresses.
Originally from Govanhill in Glasgow.  Now in Langside Glasgow.

Mandy

I know Paisley very well as from there. The whole road is victorian tenements until it reaches just east of the photo above where it becomes an area known as Ralston which is has posh houses.

The building that daval has said is a supermarket is indeed. It is built on the site of the old Paisley ice rink which closed in 1973. (but is on East Lane rtaher than Glasgow Road) Most of the houses on that side of the road are tenements with shops underneath.

I went to school on Glasgow Road - Paisley Grammar School. The odd numbers are on the opposite side of the road to where the supermarket is. I think no 89 is just beyond that point .
