Hi there,
I came across your post on Rootsweb.
It's a while ago and maybe your reseach has moved on but I can tell you a bit about Patrick and Mary Farrell. Patrick was my great uncle, brother of my grandfather John Farrell. the rest of the family emigrated to Syracuse New York in about 1890. If you want to know more contact me directly

Parents of Patrick Farrell were William Farrell and Mary Ahern. The birthdate I have been given for William Farrell is 1844 Tipperary. He and Mary Ahern were married in Annacarty in 1861 when he would have been sixteen.
