Hi,
Don't know if you found anything out regards your question but have found two families in Campsie that possibly fit.
Both on the 1841 Census, Campsie, Stirling, both living in Main Street.
1st.
John McLuckie, Smith, Stirlingshire, Scotland, 1821, (20).
      Mary    "                                                "         1811, (30).
      James   "                             "                 "        1836, (5).
      William   "                            "                "         1838, (3)

2nd.
John McLuckie, Sower,                    Scotland,  1803, (38).
      Adam      "        Calico Printer,         Scotland,  1805, (36).
      Adam      "                   Stirlingshire, Scotland, 1837, (4).
      Agnes     "                            "                "        1804, (37).
     Christina  "                                             "        1835, (6).
      George    "                           "                "        1833, (Eight).
      Helen      "                            "                "        1840, (6months).
      John        "                            "                "        1828, (13).
      Mary        "                            "                "       1831,  (10).
      Sophie     "                           "                 "       1835,  (6).
      William     "                            "                "       1839, (2).

These are the only two that closely match your details, there are others but not from Campsie. It is also possible that these two families are related, pity 1841 Census does not supply much in the way of detail.

                                                                           Regards,
                                                                                Dunmac.
