Your Grandad, was born 8th Nov. 1922 asnd a Merchant Seaman in World War Two, Yes?

His medal roll appears to be a complicated one to me (who only found the link yesterday!) I have looked at the explainations in the link and they are as clear as mud to me.

Perhaps someone knows more ???

yes grandad was a merchant seaman in WW2, but his dob is 1 june 1918 (8.11.22, was his brother james' dob)
i'm glad to see i'm not the only one who was confused by this document :D
