I have just found out my Grandmother Clara Barker was born in 1884 in Co Armagh and my great Grandmother Ellen Mckenna born around 1852 in Co Armagh married a soldier Robert Barker from Nottingham, they came back to the UK and are on the 1891 census in Battersea, London, where the barrack hill comes in I don't know, but it has always been mentioned in my family, whether Ellen was born there or just lived there or what it even is i don't know, and that is the extent of my knowledge but I would love to find out more, unfortunately in the foreseeable future I am not going to get over to Ireland, so does any one have any suggestions as to how I can take this further via the net or have they come across these people in their own tree's.
