Mary Elizabeth Palmer

Hi, I am trying to death details of my Great Grandmother Mary Elizabeth Palmer b 1847 and married to Henry Carnell Palmer. The latest record I have of them is the 1901 census. Henry died in 1919 at Esh Winning but Mary was not the informant. I have tried the BMDs from 1901 onwards without success and she may have moved on after Henry's demise. Any clues would be appreciated. Geoff

Have you searched the full GRO index or freebmd which is not yet complete?

Hi Barbara, I may be missing something here - I thought the GRO index wasn't available until 2008. I have searched the BMD from 1901 to 1934 by which time I would have been 2 years old and living in the same mining village. My Mum (15years ago) didn't give any info on Mary for the family tree. You didn't say if Henry's death cert in 1919 stated if he was a widower...
