Thank you so much.  I wondered if Charles Montague had gone to Australia as I lost sight of him in New Zealand - so another avenue to explore.
My sister in law, who is helping me with some of the Lewin memories, will be visiting next week and I think she will be quite overwhelmed by the information that kind Rootschatters have found for me!
