Fearon?
« on: Thursday 31 May 07 18:44 BST (UK) »
Hello,

This is a long shot, but you are so helpful on here, its worth a try ;)

I have a birth record for a Joseph Wallace (1 March 1874, St James, Whitehaven).  His parents are listed as Steward Wallace (guessing it should be Stewart) and Ann Fearow.  I'm guessing she is supposed to be Fearon, as Fearow is a name I haven't come across before.  But....I can't find a birth record for an Anne Fearon anywhere.  She was born 1848ish in Whitehaven and shows up on later censuses as A F Wallace.

Any ideas on how I could trace her?

Kate :)

Thank you so much Geoff, that's been bugging me for some time!  I thought Fearon was her surname, but obviously it was her middle name!

Thanks so much :)
