to Martha Young (x) aged 20 sp of Ock Street d/o William Young Lab - by banns
witnesses Joseph Beal (x) & Sam Simson

HI - a few more bits, 

In the 1861 census for Abingdon

Charles King who was born about 1851 in Sandford is with his parents and siblings (let me know if you don't find it)  father Charles King aged 40 born Besselsleigh Berks and mother Sarah aged 40 born Cothill.  I havn't found Charles & Sarah's marriage (yet),  but a baptism from the Besselsleigh registers
1820 November 12th Charles s/o George & Charlotte King - lab

In 1841 the family is in Sandford
George King 45 Ag Lab
Charlotte 50
Charles 20
Sarah 20

Do you think Charles and Sarah both age 20 on the 1841 could be husband and wife instead of brother and sister? I have found this marriage,

Charles KING  Dec Q 1840  Abingdon  v.6  p.242
Sarah HEDGES with same details.

She is the only other name with the same details but they may not all have been transcribed yet

Yet again you spot it Daisy - yes I do think you're right by 1851 still in Sandford they have the following children

Charlotte King 5 
Eliza King 4
Mary Ann King 2

Just to let you know that I've sent for the birth certificates of Daisy Castle and Frederick King, then I can work back from there.
They should be here by Friday  -  keeping my fingers crossed !

Hello again,

Well, it's Saturday and my certs have come !!  Hooray!! 

Frederick Charles King was born 21.5.1908 at Johnsons Farm, West Hendred, his parents were Frederick King, a farm carter, and Caroline Emily Greenough.

Daisy Isabel Castle was born 30.4.1908 at East Hendred, her parents were Arthur John Castle, a farm carter, and Maria Harris.

I can't find anything at all about Arthur John Castle or Frederick King.

I think Maria Harris may be the daughter of Jesse Harris and Esther Denton.
Caroline Emily Greenough may be the daughter of Joseph Greenough and Ann Wilkins.

Can anyone confirm this for me, or help with any other details please??
