picture too big to post

Can anybody tell me how to reduce the size of a picture so I can post it? My image is 570kb and taken on a digital camera.

I presume you have it in a photo program of some sort (I use a Mac so i have iphoto) which will let you send it as an e-mail. Select e-mail and use the small or medium size option — whichever keeps it under 300k. When you have it in the e-mail form save it as a jpg on the desktop.
Alternatively put it in photoshop and downsize it that way.

If you have a photo program...open the pic with the program and go to the tool bar and look for resize.....make it about 6" x 4" or about 800 X 500 pixels....something like that.....and get it down to less than 500kb.
