I am looking for the death of my gt grandmother, Marion (nee McKie) McConnell.
She was married to Edward McConnell in Girvan Ayrshire.

Hi Margaret

Using wildcards to allow for variable spellings still only turns on 5 possible choices in all of Scotland from 1861 forward....... and one is glaringly obvious to be your Maria.  You'll find her DC name indexed on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk  as MCCONNELL,  MARIA  ms MCKEE
