Hi,

could anyone have a go at this please?? i know its bad, but i'm just not confident enough to have a go at this... it isnt my photo.. i'm posting for a friend

Hi Julie,

Had a go  piecing the remaining parts of the mother's face together  but the mouth area was pretty non-existant.  Best effort I'm afraid  :-\

Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.

thanks alot Red....

i did try myself but, i couldnt get the skin to look natural enough... and i ended up getting rather annoyed at it

so i binned it before i saved it... lol...

Your welcome Julie,
I pick out what is remaining of skin colour then head for the next bit and then tone in if there is any shading or bone structure. Found it was easier after changing the lighting. The end of the nose, corner of mouth, ear  and just about the eyes and brow are original. Had to rebuild one cheekbone though.

Thank you Jim  :D   Fraid it was that or nothing, shame the scratches were all over her face, I expect they hav a tale to tell.

Yep...totally agree...

my friend thinks it was a child that did it...but isnt sure... seems very... accurate for a child though :(
