Hi Goggy
Isaac Binsteed
Driver
Royal Field Artillery
Number 6706?

Entitled to 1915 trio(Brit War Medal,Victory and 1915 Star)
the numbers after the medal entitlement relate to roll books at the NA Kew in which you may find more info such as Battery,Regiment etc.

He entered France 27-9-1915 so if you can find which units of RFA deployed on that date you should be able to pinpoint his unit.

Google  the Long Long Trail it has lots of Info on WW1.

Hello ,
I have found a couple of possibilities. Both 62 Brigade and 65 Brigade with A,B,C,&D batteries with 12 Division arrived France  31/5/15. I can't at present find any with 27th or 29th /5/15 for France.
Regards
Alan

Sorry Guys am obviously going number dyslexic!!
Date of Entry to France should read 27th September 1915!

Too many figures.

Where did he come from he may have joined a local Artillery Unit in the days before Conscription.
