Burials in Maidstone (Tovil)
« on: Sunday 10 June 07 09:34 BST (UK) »
My Gt Grandfather Williams James Ivory drowned and his body was washed up at Tovil near Maidstone in August 1901. Not quite sure how he ended up there as he throw himself in at Faversham Creek. Can anyone tell me where he would have been buried as I know he wasnt brought back to Faversham and do not know the Maidstone area very well.
Regards

Jason

You could try contacting Maidstone Council's Bereavement Services.

They should be able to tell you if he was buried in Maidstone Cemetery.
