I am now wondering if these are Helena's b. 1872 siblings - I notice on the marriage index another daughter of a James TRANTER marrying in 1902 b. 1880 There may be two James TRANTER's.  Have you any other evidence that Helena's mother was Ellen RYLEY/OREILY?

Reply #23 on one of your previous threads[from Twinkleberry] describes who came on the Diadem.
Includes John Tranter, wife Ellen , 3daughters and Ezechial and James.
Also Francis, Mary, 2 daughters Lucy E and Teresa  This was in 1840

Helena who married Thomas Cushion appears to have died in Nsw as Jenn has highlighted on your other thread.
The index entry clearly says Father JOHN.
