Hi, It's West Ham not Westham and Stratford Green these days is Straford, Maryland Point still exists All are in the modern borough of Newham.

There still is today a school for girls called Sarah Bonell's School (I think Bonell is spelt that way), my sister attended the school. This is a very old school and I believe originally it was in Stratford but was relocated to Forest Gate, it was in some way connected to the parish church of Stratford which unfortunately is surrounded by a road all the way around. I have a copper ingraving of it.
Knight (Nottingham & Hants) Hancock, (Kent) , Hancox (Warwickshire), Linneys (Hants) Brothers (Langford, Beds,East London), Bridgers (East London)

Other restorers please feel free to use my work if wished

Hi,

I think I can see her in 1851 (let me know if you don't have this) but not in 1861, this is the only Ann WOODCOCK death I can see between 1851-1861 in West Ham.

Ann WOODCOCK  Jun Q 1860  West Ham  v.4a  p.4

Regards
Daisy

Her death certificate lists place of Death as Langthorne Place, West Ham.

I have quite a bit of information of the Woodcock Women and their schools, Catherine and her Husband, principal of Newbury, Sarah and Eliza at Maida Vale etc.

Australia is no barrier to quality research.
