The second is the date of marriage (I am unsure of the date is not clear which day in september)

I agree with what you suggest Newfy, I will send for the 1913 cert on condition the father is Richard and see what occupation we get.

Yes I agree! It's as if the pen doesn't contact with paper half the time!
