I've been sneaking looks all day at work but I'm not allowed to log in there so haven't been able to reply till now...

You guys are brilliant, thank you all so very much. I'm going to print every one, they're so good  :)

It is an extra special picture of my granny, she was a shop assistant before she married in 1917 and I can imagine that she took a good while to save up for the clothes that she is wearing.

And...thanks to China for the suggestion  :)

Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.

ps - any more? - but without the wrought iron bannister  :o :o

Nothing quite as good as that one yet, but I have two others which are in need of a clean up  :) and a few pretty bad ones which I haven't scanned yet.
