Aird 's from Stranraer, Can anyone help ?

Hi Gordon,

The daughter born 30 Aug 1852 is probably Elizabeth Charlotte AIRD whose death certificate you have (the one who died in Stranraer in 1855 aged 2)?

What were the birthplaces of Mary AIRD (born ca 1835) and William AIRD (born ca 1837) - children presumed to be from a previous marriage of John AIRD.  I think you have them in the 1851 census.  And did either of them have an occupation?  Perhaps trying to find them in the 1861 census (especially William as Mary might have married and be under a different name by then) would be a good next step ...

Only 1861 census for William Aird with correct birth area ( Lanarkshire )
Shows a wife named Agnes, both staying in Govan.

Not knowing the surname of this possible wife, how can

William Aird married 15 March 1861 Tradeston Glasgow to Agnes Clark, how old is Agnes and where does it say she was born?
