Thomas Sarsfield born 1867 Ireland living in the civil parish of Golborne Colliery Labourer.

I think the one on the 1881 is a different chap to the 1891

As on the 1891 Thomas Sarsfield is a boarder u/m mar 26  gen lab says he is born Liverpool

Thanks so much Ricky. The one who is on the 1891 could be my man. My Thomas had a brother who lived in the area. So I will need to do some digging about to sort these two out.

The one who has  father called Cornelius is on the 1871 census is living in Liverpool aged 5

In 1891 I think there are 3 Thomas Sarsfield.

1. born Ireland father Cornelius.

2. born Leigh later married Jane Atherton.

3. The one who turns up in St Helens. I think this one may be mine. I can only find this one on this census but the other two on 1881 and 1901.
