My brickwall  . I have the birth certificate of my grandfather John Morgan who married a Catherine Llewelly in 1894 in Pontypridd. It states that the father of John was William Morgan [harpist] and his mother Mary Richards. William from Merthyr and Mary from Aberdare John born 1868 in Pontypridd. But so far cannot locate the marriage of William and Mary . Any help appeciated. Regards Alun.

Are you sure they ever married??  If Mary's surname is Richards on the birth certificate, this could suggest they weren't married at the time of John's birth.  (Or have I completely misread your post? :-[)
