Any guesses as to this place name
« on: Sunday 17 June 07 12:34 BST (UK) »
We have a photo from 1932 of a person we are trying to locate. So far he has been very elusive so we are having to follow any lead, no matter how vague

The photo has writing on the back

R S Saunders.
7 Lynhurst Rd
(Then a place name we can't read but what we CAN read seems to be) CHE R  HAM
Buckinghamshire

Any ideas from you Buckinghamshore folk what that place name might be?

Thanks

Jillie

Thanks to you both. I suspect that CHESHUM is the right name, especially since it still has a Lyndhurst Rd
