Happy to look through my copy of Stokesley parish records (1571-1750). Let me know the name(s) you are looking for and I will try to help.

Thanks for your offer!

My g-g-g-grandmother was Margaret FENWICK of Stokesley. According to IGI she m Hugh FOX at Whorlton on 23 November 1784, so unfortunately out of your timescale. I have visited Whorlton/Swansby and Malton (which is where most of my ancestors seem to have settled) but not yet been to Stokesley. I know nothing of Elizabeth's birth or her forbears at all, so would be grateful for pointers to any FENWICKs in the parish.

I am looking for any information on the Weatherill or Wetherill families in Stokesley. Anything would help.
