I am trying to find info about my great grandfather. He died in 1924 in monmouthshire. He had a brother called lesley who may have been a police officer. I can't find either on the 1901 census. I think william was born c1900, but i'm not sure where in wales. He had 2 children with alice seymour in newbury, berkshire. William died on the day my late grandfather was born. Any help or maybe if ne1 could go to the records office to try and trace him, that would be great. I have williams death cert but i don't know where he is buried. perharps someone could help me try and find out. Thanks

Well, she took his surname and the children took his surname, but i have not been able to find a marriage certificate for them.
