St Marylebone School- Workhouse ?
« on: Wednesday 08 December 04 16:24 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

In looking for my GGM Emily Dadds (nee Jones) I found somebody who could be her in the 1881 Census as an inmate at ST Marylebone School, Hayes, Middlesex.
PRO- RG11, Piece/Folio 1336/115 Page 1.
I have found a useful website

http://users.ox.ac.uk/~peter/workhouse/

Left Hand Side of Page - Workhouse Locations, English Poor Law Unions, London

which gives the inmates at the St Marylebone Workhouse.
However she is not listed there.
Can anybody tell me if the two institutions are the same but at different addresses or two different organisations.
If different what was the status of the School in Hayes. Some inmates were only two and three years old.

Hope somebody can help or the website link is helpful.

Regards

Terry
Looking for Dadds, Wheeler, Seymour, Hammond & Reynolds to name but a few.
