I run a Ballymena WW1 site ... I am very interested in your man D. at Ypres in 1915. I have no record of him on my site at 'Ballymena 1914-1918' (see virtual memorial) ... was he (as they say) local?
Loads of Pattons and Shaws on the site though as serving men etc. Only one Shaw (Thomas of Clough, not far from Rathkenny KIA November 1916 with 1st Royal Irish Rifles).
Get back to me if you have mor einfo about your Ypres man.
