Thanks for all the info, mind you I think its all a bit disturbing, it was certainly no health resort!!
Your g.grandparent's must have been in the workhouse at about the same time as William, it was a terrible way to grow up and I can't help thinking how lucky we are all now.
I hope you have moved to somewhere nice and sunny, weather being temperamental here as usual.
