Hi Shirley,

I've just had a go at opening it with Paint. I didn't have a problem.
But I have just thought that when you saved it to your computer, what file type did you save it as?
I generally save as a jpg or jpeg. Most photo editing software (Paint included) should be able to open jpgs.

cheers,
g a r

Hi G A R

I think the drop down only gives me a choice of what it is on which I think just said Easyshare jpg which I thought would be alright, but when it wasn't I used the drop down with only one option 'all files' so I tried that.  I'll have another go.

Cheers for now

I've tried opening it with Paint and it says: Paint cannot read this file. This is not a valid bitmap file or its format is not currently supported.

I'm afraid it's getting too technical for me now ~ I don't know what that means ~ how about you?

Easyshare jpg may be a format exclusive to Kodak as opposed to a generic jpg.

Paint may not recognize the Easyshare jpg format but it should recognize a few different types of bitmap, gif, tiff, png and jpg files.

If you like, I can email the pic to you. PM me with an email address I can send it to.

cheers,
