No Warry marriages 1924-1932 either, sorry, checked in case she went back to her maiden name.

Her first marriage in Blaby March Qu 1922 7a 54 was
Florence A WARRY to John W. SHENTON

Hi again all

Firstly, I must apologise, my handwriting is obviously worse than I realised!

Florence Amy's first married name was SHENTON not as I originally stated!sorry.

The first two children are in the BMD's as mother's name Shenton and the last one as Warry.

I have now checked with my F-i-L and his Birth Certificate states mother is Florence Amy Robertson formerley Warry. i.e. she was acting as married to my f-i-l's father and using Warry as her maiden name again. Her 1st (or only) husband had died in 1924.

Sorry again.

Hi Barbara

Thanks for trying anyway. I'm a bit stuck for now then I think .

Would you know if people can access any census data for post 1901. I haven't until now needed to as all the other digging on my side has been via family and papers or 1901 and before?

Cheers

Ian

Hi Ian,

Not to worry, we all make mistakes  :D

Check out this webpage for the 1911 census news, think an address search is about £45 though
http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/1911census/?homepage=news

You could try the local library for a search of the electoral registers
