In answer to a very old post, my great-grandfather Alfred Berry and his wife lived at 33 Larch Road between 1919 and 1935. Before WWI they lived at 86 Larch Road.

Hello

On one of my relatives death certificate gives her address as 45 Larch Road circa 1941 her name was Evelyn Hicks/Dukes/Paynter.  I also have relatives living at 51 Carmila Road and 49 Scholars Road during the 1970's they being Eliz and Robert Sharp.

Do these names ring any bells?

Many thanks.

Hi Walter

I see from your profile, you've been a member for quite a while but not posted on a board before.

Are Mr & Mrs Sharp still alive as we have a 'no living people' policy here?

Dawn

Thank you for informing me of that as I have not read all the rules.

No they passed away some time ago but just happened to stumble across the mention of Larch Road via a search in Google Uk.

Many thanks

Appreciate this is quite an old thread; my Great Grandmother Winifred Burke was born at 46 Larch Road. Beforehand her parents lived at 9 Kate Street, and later on at 27 and then 7 Dendy Street.
