George Offen

I have a George Offen born about 1802 Battle Sussex and on 1841/51/61 census he is a grocer in Beckenham Kent and I wonder if any of you Rootschatters can find this grocer shop in Beckenham in Picots Directory or any finds most gratefully received.

Where would I look for shopkeepers? I can't get the hang of this Piggots. Please.

Go to area you want ie Beckenham scroll down through all the occupations etc . You can also search by name of person . Afraid does not always give addresses.
