I'm just starting to trace my Taylor / Syner family from Benthall back from 1621 and have found in the 1327 lay subsidy
"Hug' le Tayllour"
Would Hugo here be a tailor or like me, just inherited the Taylor surname. Would Broseley / Benthall have been big enough to have supported a tailor at this time?
