I am looking for William Steel and his parents etc. He was born in Rawdon in 1844 or 1845.

The 1851 census index for Rawdon shows a William Steel aged 6 born Rawdon.

HO 107/2285
Folio 276

Only adults at same folio no. are Alice Steel aged 33 born Heaton and John Steel, carpenter, aged 37 born Addingham.

A John Steele son of Zacheus and Ellen Steele was baptised at Addingham St Peter 19 Dec 1813. The family abode was Smallbanks and Zacheus was a carpenter.
