Hello Danny,

Jim has mentioned the Lisburn Standard. The other paper in Lisburn was the Lisburn Weekly Mail 1903-05 which became the Guardian in 1906 and ran to 1920.

Jim also mentioned the Linenhall Library. The Belfast Central Library has one of the major collections in Ireland of Irish newspapers including over one hundred titles and 3,500 bound volumes. The Library has a further 200 titles on microfilm.

Thankyou Jim and Christopher

So the linenhall library will almost certainly have obituaries for 1907.
If i email them or phone them, will they be able to check for me as i dont live in belfast?

Danny, I dont live in Belfast either. I think Christopher has uptodate knowledge of both libraries. I would suggest you try the Central Belfast Public library first. Good luck onwards. Jim
